Are car insurance quote websites, all different?

I have been searching for a car insurance quote website that let’s me compare and weigh out my options for different situations. I have noticed that the quotes for the same car, same situations are all different depending on the websites? How can this be?

As brokers, auto insurance companies get to negotiate different deals with the insurers depending upon how much business they introduce to each company. Some insurers offer better deals to brokers based on a higher percentage of the brokers total business.
